In 2018, I moved my practice to Equity Services Inc., a Montpelier, Vermont based broker-dealer and registered investment adviser that offers independent advisers and their clients competitive and state-of-the-art advisory tools while still providing a local caring support network that enhances our overall client relationships. I am a lifelong resident of Upstate New York & Vermont, where my wife and I raised our family. As empty-nesters we enjoy outdoor activities and road trips around America with our family dog.
Steve Simmons has a bachelor’s degree from Johnson State College where he majored in business, with a concentration in accounting. He is life and health licensed and holds FINRA registrations 7, 24, 65 and 66. Steve is a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative of Equity Services, Inc. and offers securities in the following states: Vermont, New York, Florida, California, Mississippi, Massachusetts, & Maine. He is insurance licensed in the following states: Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, & Florida.
Steve currently serves as treasurer on the Board of Directors for Bennington Rescue Squad. He is an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce, as well as a past treasurer for the Green Mountain Chapter of the American Red Cross and for the Bennington Rotary.
